ABOUT: GABE

Gabe brings a unique combination of energy, verve and experience to each photograph he shoots. His work has appeared in countless magazines, catalogs and newspapers nationally and abroad. From National Geographic Adventure to TIME Magazine, from an international Bombardier ad campaign to the Patagonia catalog, Gabe's eye for photojournalistic style and artistic flair can be found wherever adventure lies. Going beyond the solitary role of photographer, Gabe values most the interaction he has with his subjects. He's traveled around the world to shoot commercial and editorial subjects in places as diverse as Kazakhstan, Oman, India, Ethiopia, Russia, Tibet, Namibia, Antarctica and Greenland.

Gabe started pursuing photography following a year of solo travel in Nepal, Thailand and the lower 48. He spent twelve months evading Himalayan storms, honing his photography skills, learning how to live out of a pick-up, and fine tuning the art of making a variety of ramen noodle dishes. Upon returning from his trip, Gabe solidified his passion for capturing enduring images with a degree in professional photography. More than a decade later, he has yet to lose the wanderlust and passion for creating the perfect image. As an avid skier, climber, moutain biker and traveler, he understands his subjects for their drive and appreciates them for their passion. His relationships percolate to his photographs and show the true heart of his work.

And More...

The consummate explorer, Gabe has been known to stand on the hoods of moving vehicles, rappel off 3000 foot rock walls and ski from the summit of an 8000 meter peak for the perfect image. Whether you have an outdoor commercial assignment or are looking for an adventure photojournalist, Gabe is ready to shoot your next project.
